US President Joe Biden left the Indian capital, New Delhi, on Sunday, heading to Vietnam following his participation in the G20 summit.
During his visit in Vietnam, US President will sign the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement.
Earlier today, Biden and the leaders of the G20 countries visited the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial to lay wreaths.
President Biden also praised the outcomes of the G20 summit in New Delhi, saying, "At a moment when the global economy is suffering from the overlapping shocks of the climate crisis, fragility and conflict, this year’s summit proved that the G20 can still drive solutions to our most pressing issues.
During his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday, Biden pledged to deepen and diversify the defense partnership between the two countries.
