US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan called on Israel to take more steps to restore calm and reduce escalation.
During a phone call with his Israeli counterpart Tzachi Hanegbi, Sullivan voiced US deep concern about recent settler attacks against Palestinian civilians and destruction of their property in the West Bank.
Moreover, he stressed the importance of holding those responsible for acts of violence accountable, calling on all parties to refrain from taking unilateral measures, including settlement activities that fuel tension.
