US National Security Adviser: China Has Not Taken Steps to Provide Russia with Weapons

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that China had not taken any steps to provide lethal weapons to Russia for use in the military operation against Ukraine.

And Sullivan added, in statements reported by the "American Al-Hurra" channel, that his country made it clear in private sessions that such a step would have dire consequences.

He noted that at the same time, China has the right to make its own decisions regarding how to proceed. and whether it will provide military aid to Russia.

He made it clear that Washington will continue to send firm messages to Moscow.

Sullivan stated that sending military aid to Russia at this time would be a big mistake.
