US-Kurdistan Business Council Commends KRG's Reforms

Masrour Barzani, the prime minister of the Kurdistan Region, welcomed a group from the US-Kurdistan Business Council on Tuesday. The visitors praised the KRG's continuing reforms aimed at streamlining investment operations.

The delegation's members and the reason for their visit to the Kurdistan Region were described by the council's president, David Tafuri, who also expressed the council's commitment to increase its work and investments in the Region.

The prime minister underlined the most recent events in the Kurdistan Region and its connection with the federal government in Baghdad in a statement issued by the KRG. He emphasized that Erbil has fulfilled all of its commitments under the Iraqi constitution and accords, and he urged the federal government to uphold the rights that the Region is given by the constitution.

The harmonious cohabitation of the various parts of the Kurdistan Region was a major topic of discussion during the gathering. Prime Minister Barzani reaffirmed the KRG's dedication to upholding religious freedom, fostering a culture of interfaith cooperation, and defending the rights of all component groups.
