US House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy, arrived in Israel on Sunday, leading a delegation of 16 additional congressmen, from both parties.
According to the Hebrew media, McCarthy's visit to Israel came after an official invitation from the Speaker of the Israeli Knesset, Amir Ohana.
On his part, US House of Representatives Speaker stressed the special ties between the United States (US) and its ally Israel.
Moreover, McCarthy pledged to make the Washington-Tel Aviv partnership stronger in the coming years.
