US House Speaker Declines Zelensky's Invitation to Visit Kyiv

US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has declined Ukrainian President Volydmir Zelensky to visit Kyiv. 

Earlier, US President Joe Biden and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, discussed their continued support for Ukraine as the Russian crisis entered its second year, including their commitment to continue providing security assistance to Ukraine and imposing costs on Russia for its aggression.

In a statment, the white house added that both presidents discussed ways of cooperation between the United States and France in the Indo-Pacific region, as well as joint efforts to address the challenges posed by China to the rules-based international order.

Moreover, the leaders also reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination on accelerating the transition to clean energy economies.
