A U.S. delegation from the Senate, accompanied by the Governor of North Sinai Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shusha, inspected the aid for the Gaza Strip in the logistical warehouses of the Egyptian Red Crescent in the city of Al-Arish.
The delegation included Senator Christopher Van Hollen, Senator Jeffrey Merkley, members of the US Democratic Party, and Herro Mustafa Garg, the US ambassador to Cairo.
It inspected the various departments in the Egyptian Red Crescent’s warehouses in Al-Arish, and listened to an explanation from the officials about methods of receiving, storing and arranging the aid, and placing it on trucks to deliver it to the Gaza Strip.
