The US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is expected to “resume his normal duties," today, on Tuesday, one day after his admission to the hospital.
Austin underwent non-surgical procedures to address his bladder issues, the statement of the Pentagon said, highlighting: "We anticipate a successful recovery and will closely monitor him overnight."
The Pentagon’s statement added that “a prolonged hospital stay is not anticipated” for the Defense Secretary and “his cancer prognosis remains excellent”.
