The Senate confirms Bridget Brink to serve as US ambassador to Ukraine.
“The Senate has swiftly confirmed President Biden’s nominee Bridget Brink to serve as the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine,” Chuck Schumer, Senate Majority Leader wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
President Joe Biden has nominated earlier Brink, the American veteran diplomatic to serve as Ambassador Extraordinary, and commissioner for Ukraine.
Brink currently is working as a US Ambassador to Slovakia; The White House described her as a professional member of the diplomatic corps, as she spends 25 years working in the Foreign Ministry, and she began her career in the Serbian capital, Belgrade.
