A man was killed and five others were injured in a shooting in downtown St. Louis, in the American state of Missouri, according to what police in the state said, AP reported.
In Alabama, a shooting at a crowded party in the state capital of Alabama left thirteen people injured — nine of whom were shot, officials said Sunday. Four other people were injured as a result of the chaos that followed the shooting.
In Michigan, an Oakland County mayor's deputy was shot and killed while pursuing a stolen car in Detroit, according to the Oakland County mayor's Office.
The AP reported that in New York, six people were injured in a shooting early Sunday in a park in Rochester, the police said. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
In the US state of Arkansas, a fourth victim died a day after a shooting at a grocery store in Arkansas, wounding nine others, damaging a number of cars, and causing panic among passers-by.
