UN Security Council (UNSC) expressed on Sunday its deep concern over reports of “Nabulsi Roundabout Massacre,” in which more than 100 people were killed and hundreds of others were injured as a result of an Israeli strike.
In a statement on Sunday, the Council also called on Israel to facilitate immediate access of adequate humanitarian aid to civilians throughout the Gaza Strip.
"They [the UNSC] express grave concern over the estimation from the Integrated Phase Classification (IPC) that all 2.2 million people in Gaza would face alarming levels of acute food insecurity,” UNSC said in a statement.
The Council urged Israel to keep border crossings open to bring aid into Gaza and facilitate the opening of additional crossings to meet humanitarian needs.
