Unified Database of Childcare Centers to Help Mothers

Every Egyptian mother is compelled to leave her child in a qualified nursery due to her daily schedule. Therefore, the Ministry of Social Solidarity has decided to establish a unified database for all nurseries in different governorates to help mothers identify the addresses, places, and services of these nurseries.

The National Program for Early Childhood Development aims at establishing nurseries in terms of efficiency and quality, as well as providing job opportunities for workers in these nurseries. The move will help women to work and leave their children in qualified kindergartens; it will also establish a database of all nurseries after the completion of evaluation and classification. Through this unified database, families will have full knowledge of licensed nurseries and will be committed to assessing these criteria to choose what suits them.

Currently, 50 nurseries are being developed in Giza governorate for rehabilitation and help mothers.
