The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) announced on Thursday that

the number of Ukraine’s residents who fled the country since the beginning of the Russian military operation in the state has exceeded six million.

The latest refugee crisis is considered the worst in Europe since the end of the World War, according to the UNHCR.
