Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Muslims around the word on the ocassion of holy month of Ramadan.
"Ramadan Mubarak to all Muslims in Ukraine and around the world on the occasion of the holy month," Ukrainian President posted on 'X'.
"Unfortunately, the ongoing war and suffering have overshadowed this year's Ramadan in Ukraine," he added.
"We hope that this holy month will bring us closer to achieving a just and fair peace - not only for Ukrainians, but for all people who are currently suffering from the horrors of war. Humanity is capable of achieving a level of unity that ensures justice and protects life from war," Zelensky continued.
