Ukrainian MP: We Lost War, Negotiations with Russia Are Only Way to Stop Hostilities

A Ukrainian opposition deputy said that his country "lost its war with Russia.".

He called for the formation of a negotiating team to find a compromise with Russia and prevent the continuation of military confrontation.

"Today, we must form a negotiating team with expertise and weight in society to sit at the table and look for compromises, because the war is useless and it has already been completed," Ilya Kiva, a deputy from the Opposition Platform - for Life party, told the 112 TV channel. Losing the war, Russian tanks have entered Kiev, and continuing the war means the death of our men."

The opposition MP expressed his conviction that the first step to ending the war is the resignation of President Vladimir Zelensky and members of the government and the dissolution of Parliament, and the second step is the start of negotiations with Russia.
