Ukrainian Chargé d'Affaires in Cairo, Ruslan Nechai, said that NATO will not be involved militarily in his country.
Speaking to Sada Elbald English (SEE), Nechai said: "From my point of view, NATO will not be sent to Ukraine to fight Russia."
In the same spirit, he indicated that Russian forces are meeting strong resistance from the Ukrainian people besides their armed forces, claiming that over 100 Russian tanks have been destroyed and totally demolished by the Ukrainian army until this moment.
He added that nearly 200 Russian soldiers were taken as prisoners.
Nechai also pointed out, "They fight as much as possible to free their country," affirming that Ukrainians will not surrender.
Commenting on the latest remarks by the Russian ambassador to Egypt on the destiny of the nations that intended to join the western alliance in the future, the high-ranking Ukrainian official totally rejected the aggressive Russian stances and also condemned the involvement of Belarus in this aggression against Ukraine.
In conclusion, he condemned the Russian armed forces' shelling of hospitals, civilian buildings, and schools, amid the ongoing Russian military operations in Ukraine.
