The Ukrainian Embassy in Israel published a statement on its Facebook page, aiming to recruit expatriates and mercenaries to fight the Russian army, under the name of "defending Ukraine's sovereignty."
"To my dear compatriots, brothers, and all interested Israeli citizens and people of other countries who are currently in Israel, we have begun to form lists of volunteers who wish to take part in combat against the Russian aggressor.”
The Embassy put an e-mail in the service of what it called "Volunteers to Defend the Sovereignty of Ukraine".
