Ukraine’s Embassy in Cairo Thanks Egypt for Role in Crisis

Ukraine’s embassy in Cairo thanked Egypt for its role during the current crisis as Ukraine is still under military attack from Russia.

Russlan Nichay, the acting Ukrainian ambassador to Egypt, said during a press conference held today’s noon, that the Ukrainian army is less than the Russian armed forces in number, equipment, and armament.

He added the Ukrainian army proves a major capability to fight fiercely to defend the country’s territory.

Nichay pointed out that Russia employs black propaganda and misinformation to promote some rumors to mislead the world's public opinion.

Nichai explained that a number of Russia's allies have taken a number of positions that would dissuade Moscow from invading Ukraine, including the measures taken by a number of Chinese banks that froze dealings with Russian companies.

He pointed out that all pressures and economic restrictions from Western countries and America on Russia are aimed at pushing Moscow to sit at the negotiating table and reach a peaceful solution.
