Ukraine said, Thursday, that it will have grain talks with Poland in the upcoming days to reach another agreement on Ukrainian grain exports, especially after the end of the grain deal with the Russians.

Poland kept their ban on Ukrainian grain, despite of European Commission's decision to end the restrictions.

The issue sparked a diplomatic dispute between the neighboring countries.

On the initiative of new talks between Ukraine and Poland, the Ukrainian Agriculture Ministry said: "The next negotiations will take place in the coming days, during which the issues prepared by both sides will be discussed."

It added Ukrainian Agriculture Minister Mykola Solsky had a phone discussion with his Polish counterpart Robert Telus.

"The ministers discussed the situation as well as Ukraine's proposal for its settlement, and agreed to find a solution that takes into account the interests of both countries," the statement said.

It continued that "the parties confirmed the close and constructive relations."
