Ukraine exported 3.6 million tonnes of grains and legumes during the 2023/2024 marketing year ( from July 1 to August 21,2023), Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported, according to Ukrinform.
In the current MY, Ukraine has already exported 1.5 million tonnes of wheat, 422,000 tonnes of barley, 600 tonnes of rye, and 1.7 million tonnes of corn.
For comparison, in 2022/2023, as of August 25, 2022, Ukraine exported 3.3 million tons of grains and pulses, including 896,000 tons of wheat, 272,000 tons of barley, 2.1 million tons of corn, and 400 tons of rye.
