Alexei Aristovich, an advisor to the chief of staff of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, has suggested that a peace agreement with Russia will be reached within one to two weeks, or until early May at the latest.
"I think that no later than next May, specifically early May, we should probably reach a peace agreement, and perhaps much faster," Aristovich said in an interview on the "YouTube" channel of journalist Mark Feigen.
He added: "I mean the deadline to reach a peace agreement with the withdrawal of Russian forces and the end of everything."
The fourth round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine was held on Monday via the "video conference".
Mikhail Podolak, an advisor to the Ukrainian president, said that "technical work has been stopped and negotiations will continue today, Tuesday."
Podolyak said that the current round will deal with the issues of "a ceasefire, the withdrawal of Russian forces, and security guarantees," adding that the dialogue will be "difficult."
