On Monday, UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said in his speech to Parliament in London the government believes that 15,000 Russian soldiers were killed since the invasion.

In addition, British government sources indicated that more than 2,000 Russian armored vehicles, including at least 530 tanks, were destroyed or seized.

Wallace added that Russia also lost more than 60 fighter jets and helicopters.

The defense secretary said that Russia has so far almost failed to achieve its goals in Ukraine, noting that of more than 120 Russian tactical battalions deployed in the invasion - approximately 65% of all infantry units - At least 25% of them were no longer ready to combat.

Ukraine estimates Russian losses to be much higher, as it claimed that 22,000 Russian soldiers died, 181 planes and 154 helicopters were shot down, and 884 tanks and 2,258 other armored vehicles were destroyed.
