UK Imposes Sanctions on Israeli Settlers

The United Kingdom has announced sanctions against several Israeli settlers and entities in the occupied West Bank, citing their involvement in acts of violence against Palestinians.

The decision is part of an escalating international response to Israel's military actions in Gaza and its ongoing restrictions on humanitarian aid.

This move follows a joint message from the leaders of the UK, France, and Canada, who on Monday warned Israel that continued military aggression and limits on humanitarian access could lead to further consequences.

The three countries emphasized that Israel’s prevention of essential aid deliveries to Gaza violates international humanitarian law and undermines regional stability.

The joint statement also underlined strong opposition to the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank. 

The leaders stressed their readiness to introduce further measures if necessary, including targeted sanctions against individuals and groups responsible for escalating tensions.
