The British government condemned on Tuesday, North Korea's launch of two short-range ballistic missiles off its east coast.
The launch of the two missiles, came one day after the start of South Korea and the United States periodic military exercises.
In a statment, Spokesman for British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said, "North Korea's launch of ballistic missiles on March 14 is a violation of multiple UN Security Council resolutions."
Moreover, he made it clear that the illegal launches of ballistic missiles constitute a threat to regional peace and stability, stressing that the United Kingdom (UK) will continue to call for an end to violations of Security Council resolutions.
"We strongly urge North Korea to return to dialogue and take credible steps toward denuclearization," he added.
