UAE Vaccinates over 1 MIn of Its Citizen against Coronavirus

Today, the UAE Ministry of Health announced that it provided over one million doses of the Coronavirus vaccine to its people, with 1,086,568 doses.

The health ministry added that the number of people who had the two doses of the vaccine reached more than 250,000 people.

The ministry also announced the completion of providing the vaccine to workers in the "First line of defence," who had the priority since the registration of the vaccine at the beginning of October.

Thus, the vaccine would be provided to various groups of society, including citizens and residents, especially the elderly and those with chronic diseases.

The Ministry of Health, Community Protection, local health authorities launched a national campaign to receive the Coronavirus vaccine, as it is being provided in government and private health facilities as well as councils in various emirates of the UAE.

This comes to ensure that the procedures for receiving the vaccine are facilitated for the largest segment of society, so that the vaccine is optional and free for all citizens and residents, according to WAM.
