Egyptian TV Presenter Asmaa Moustafa Dies after Battle with Cancer

Egyptian TV Presenter Asmaa Moustafa passed away, on Monday, following a long battle with cancer.

Asmaa's husband, PM Ayman Aboul Ella, announced the tragic news on social media.

"My heart is broken. My friend, beloved wife, and journalist Asmaa Mostafa died. We belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return," he wrote on Twitter.

She underwent surgery to remove a new tumor last September. Last month, she was transported into the hospital in an attempt to control her situation as her health condition deteriorated

Notably, the TV presenter graduated from the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration and completed a master's thesis in Financial Management. She was a TV presenter to a number of morning shows like; "Sabah el-Ward" and "Sabah el-Tahrir".
