Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has praised Egypt’s pivotal role in delivering humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, stressing that Ankara will continue to work closely with Cairo to ensure aid reaches those in need. Speaking at a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdel Aati in New Alamein City, Fidan underscored that Turkey and Egypt will oppose any attempt to forcibly remove Palestinians from their homes.

Fidan sharply criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s alleged plans to take control of Gaza City, calling on the entire Islamic world to act to prevent such moves. He also highlighted ongoing coordination between Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, and the United States to secure a ceasefire in Gaza, but accused Israel of deliberately obstructing progress.

The Turkish foreign minister’s visit comes amid intensified diplomatic and humanitarian efforts to address the crisis in Gaza, with both countries reaffirming their stance against forced displacement and in support of Palestinian rights.
