Turkish Ambassador Spouse Visits Al Nas Children Hospital in Cairo- PHOTOS

Madame Ayşen Balçık Şen, the honorable spouse of the Ambassador of Türkiye to Egypt, H.E. Salih Mutlu Şen, visited Al Nas Children Hospital in Cairo on September 17, 2023.

During the visit, she met officials of the hospital who gave a briefing concerning their activities and met with children receiving care form the hospital. Mdm ŞEN also gave gifts to the children in the hospital.

Madame Balçık Şen shared the following remarks after visiting the hospital:

“First of all, we would like to thank you for inviting us to visit the hospital. We were deeply pleased to meet the hospital officials and the children hospitalized here. During my visit, I could see that your hospital is using advanced technology. I could witness the interest and attention given, everything is designed with perfection.

As the Turkish nation, just as we worry about our own children, we carry the same feelings and sensitivity for Egyptian children as we see Egyptian children as the cousins of our children.

Turkish and Egyptian people are two brotherly and sisterly countries. We are the members of an old great family household. During the whole visit I witnessed those emotions, affection and attachment. When I saw the children, I felt as if I was seeing my own child. I felt a deep affection towards them. I could also see that they are very well taken care of here.

I am sure that the hospital will continue to provide great services to children for their recovery and treatment. We also pray for the fast recovery of these children of ours. Thank you.”

Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen stated that Türkiye is ready to cooperate with Egypt in the field of health and initial contacts between health institutions are established. Cooperation in the field of health may in the future include supporting the hospitals such as Al Nas Children Hospital Ambassador Şen said.
