Turkey has reinstated visa requirements for citizens of Tajikistan holding regular foreign passports, as announced in a decree issued by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and published in the official state gazette, Resmi Gazete, on Saturday.
The decree stated, "A decision has been made to terminate the visa-free travel arrangement for citizens of Tajikistan holding ordinary foreign passports when visiting Turkey."
This decision was made by the Law on Foreigners and International Protection and takes effect immediately upon publication.
