U.S. President Donald Trump has announced plans for a Gulf tour that will include visits to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Qatar in mid-May, marking his first overseas trip since the start of his second term.
The tour aims to sign major investment agreements and enhance cooperation in defense, technology, and artificial intelligence.
It will also feature a summit with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) leaders in Riyadh, where regional and international issues such as the war in Ukraine and the situation in Gaza are expected to be discussed
