Canadian Prime Minister (PM) Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held phone talks, Monday, on the developments of the Russian invasion and the next steps required to support Ukraine on several fronts.
Both leaders discussed the devastating effects of the war on the people, infrastructure, and economy in Ukraine, as well as the required support to Ukraine, including humanitarian, financial, and military aids, in addition to further sanctions against Russia, according to a statement issued by the Canadian Prime Minister's office.
Moreover, Trudeau reiterated Canada's steadfast support for Ukraine's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence.
