Tourism Ministry Launches Competition for Showcasing Beaches' Beauty

The Tourism and Antiquities Ministry launched a photography competition on social media platforms for choosing the best images shot for the Egyptian beaches, according to a statement released by the ministry on Wednesday.

Amateur photographers are allowed to partake in the competition, which is launched in cooperation with Nomads Group on Facebook and the Egyptian Hotel Association.

The competition comes within a framework of the ministry's keenness to encourage amateur photographers to showcase the beauty of the Egyptian beaches and to promote them.

It will last till Wednesday, August 5. Three winners will be selected only based on the likes that they gained on their photos on Facebook.

The prize will be a trip for two persons to spend three nights at a hotel in three tourist cities; El Gouna, Al Alamein, and Sharm El-Sheikh.

Those who will take two best photos will win three nights trip in Sharm El-Sheikh and Sahl Hashish.
