Tourganes Bring Childhood Memories Back at Citadel

On Sunday, Saladin Citadel hosted an impressive and nostalgic Tourganes' concert as part of the 29th Saladin Citadel Music Festival. The ensemble featured of Tarek Al Arabi Tourgane, his son Mohamed, and two daughters: Dana, and Tala.

Tourgane, who is known for his compositions and performances for anime shows, successfully brought warm and cherish memories back on the stage.

The concert saw an interactive appearance of the audience who participated with the singers by clapping, singing, and cheering as the performed songs left a mark in the memories of all Arab anime lovers.

The musicians introduced several famous songs such as Simba the Lion King, Ninja Turtles, Remy, Babar the Elephant.

In the same context, some songs received strong interaction from the audience which drove the Tourganes to perform them more than once such as Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!! theme song which is known in the Arab world as "Sabiq Wa Laheq," and "Ginga Sengoku Gun'yūden Rai" which is known in the Middle East as "Hazim Al Raa'd."

Moreover, the ensemble presented many unforgettable theme songs such as " Omi Ahwaha" (Mother, My Adore), "Mowgli," "Conan the Detective," "Digimon Adventures" (Abtal Al Digital), Captin Tsubasa which Arabized as (Captin Majid), and Dragon Ball.

During the concert, Tarek, Mohamed, and Dana introduced performances for famous musical themes for historical and sports-themed-anime series that were aired before streaming the anime shows.

In addition, the sons organized a surprising birthday celebration for the father, Tarek on the stage.

The ensemble concluded the concert by sending greeting to the Egyptian fans and performing the catchy, nostalgic Romeo's Blue Skies or Aahd Al Asdiqaa's theme song.

Bringing childhood memories back, the audience showed signs of happiness, and impression due to the nostalgic atmosphere of the show.
