Principles of Success by ”Robert Sweet” explicates the principles great leaders follow to attain their objectives. The book examines these leaders’ great resolve, their methods of thinking, formulating their objectives, studying their rival, their striking the rival’s vital points, their striking swiftly at the critical time, their striking in combination, their creating or exposing vital points in the rival and their parrying the rival’s strikes. These principles are as frequently applied as they are rarely discussed.

”Principles of Success” explicates the principles by which great leaders throughout history have attained their objectives not what they say they did, but what they actually did. The book is on the world as it is, not “as it is said to be.

All of the leaders attained their objectives in part by force, by fighting and all followed the same principles in fighting. Indeed, all of the leaders learned the principles in part by studying the lives of their predecessors such as; ”Bill Gates” pored over biographies of Napoleon. The Principles of Success lays out these principles and shows how leaders such as; Caesar, Richelieu, Napoleon, Talleyrand, and Gates applied them.

”Sweet” earned a BA from Emory University and an MBA and MA from the University of Texas at Austin. He studied history and literature at Oxford University as an English Speaking Union Scholar and Arabic and history in ‘Syria as a ”Fulbright Scholar”. He is a ”Senior Advisor” to the Aga Khan University.
