As temperatures drop and cold intensifies, people seek a diet that supplies the body with warmth and nutrients that feed the body with vitamins to help resist colds.

Here is a list of foods that can keep you warm:

Hot drinks:

Consuming plenty of warm fluids moisturizes the body and reduces the chances of exposure to nutritional deficiency.

Soup:

Soup is a primarily liquid food that is very important in the winter, as it helps warm the body and contains nutritional benefits for the health of the body.

Among the rich in beneficial elements soups are lentil soup, potato soup, cabbage soup, and chicken soup, which is cooked alongside its bone to acquire the benefits of gelatin and bone.

Nuts and Seeds:

It is important to eat seeds such as flax and chia seeds, as well as peanuts and legumes like beans and chickpeas, all of which are food items rich in important nutrients that reduce the chances of flu.

Vegetables high in vitamin A:

Eat vegetables such as carrots and potatoes that contain a high percentage of vitamin A and are rich in carbohydrates.
