The Founder and Chairperson of Awladna Foundation Sohair Abdel-Kader hailed the Russians for contributing to the success of the interactive scientific conference for children with special needs that took place at the Russian House in Cairo, under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity.
Entitled "A Time for Charity", the forum aimed to help children with special needs, autistic patients, and their families by using some scientific methods and measures set by a Russian delegation of specialists.
In his remarks, Murad Jatin, Director of the Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt, expressed satisfaction with the fruitful outcomes of the first Russian scientific conference in Egypt on children with special needs.
The conference helped the participants to know how to deal with children with disabilities and train families to take necessary measures to integrate their children into society, noted Jatin.
Jatin also applauded the Ministry of Social Solidarity for sponsoring the forum, in addition to the Egyptian volunteers and children, who contributed to its success.
The event witnessed over two days of parallel working groups that benefited 2 million children of autistic people in Egypt.
