Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta announced Sunday evening that Ramadan's first day will be next Tuesday, 13 April.
Dar Al-Ifta noted that Sharia and scientific committees are spread in 6 polling centers nationwide in Aswan, Qena, Sohag, Fayoum, Matrouh and the oases, to sight the crescent moon that signals the start of the holy month, and give the accurate information to the Grand Mufti of Egypt Shawky Allam.
The Islamic holy month will begin on Tuesday, 13 April, and end on Wednesday,12 May, according to the astronomical calculations
