Thousands of Brazilians filled the streets of downtown São Paulo and other major Brazilian cities, waving anti-Israel flags.
They demanded that the government of Lula da Silva sever diplomatic and trade ties with the State of Israel and stop the war in Gaza.
The Brazilian newspaper O Globo reported that various organizations and social movements organized these protests, and according to the organizers, 30,000 people participated in the march in São Paulo alone.
