Hours after it was officially announced that the British Crown Prince Charles has been tested positive for coronavirus, a royal source revealed that he is in a good health, and that his wide Camilla has tested negative for the infection.
British 'Mirror' quoted Clarance House spokesperson: "He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual."
"It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks."
The Prince, who was tested on Monday, is in the 'at risk' category as he is 71. His wife has been in contact with him and that's why she will also have to self-isolate - but they have to do it separately.
They are doing it at Birkhall, one of the Royal Family's stunning Scottish properties, which is part of the Queen's Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire, and dates back to 1715. The royal couple go there every summer, and it's where they went on their honeymoon back in 2005.
The Prince stopped all his royal engagements on March 13, when the coronavirus crisis worsened.
Doctors believe that is the earliest date that Charles was contagious. He has been working from home ever since, and will continue to do so until he is better and things return to normal.
On another hand, Buckingham Palace has said the Queen is in "good health" amid concerns over her son's health.
He last saw the Queen on March 12, when he went to Buckingham Palace to carry out an Investiture on her behalf. Prince Philip was not with the Queen when she last met Charles, the palace confirmed.
Both the Queen and Philip are in the 'high risk' category as due to their ages - 93 and 98.
The monarch left her Buckingham Palace for Windsor Castle last Thursday, a week earlier than usual for Easter.
Prince Philip, who now lives at Sandringham, has joined her but the couple are following social distancing guidelines in line with government advice.
Earlier this week, it was reported that one of the Queen's employees at Buckingham Palace tested positive for coronavirus while she was still in residence there.
