In my opinion, the European Parliament’s recent statement criticizing the situation of freedom in Egypt is a major transgression against the Parliament itself, as it represents an interference in the judicial rulings and the affairs of an independent state that is a leader in its region and its continent.. How long will the West continue to interfere in our affairs and imagine that it could dictate terms or evaluate performance?!

A statement criticizing the rulings of the judiciary, and this is rejected in all parts of the world, it is clear that this statement is part of a fierce attack carried out by the European Parliament and the Western mediah Which broadcasts poisonous reports and interviews, hosts only fugitives, wanted persons, and the Brotherhood, and only displays the offensive image of Egypt.

We saw part of it on CNN,  BBC, and other media outlets aimed at attacking and restricting Egypt in order to stop the development process and affect the people that supports its leader, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who during the ten years was able to save Egypt from a fate that, in their opinion, was leading to civil wars.. This shameful statement is a link in the chain of attacks on Egypt.

During my visit to Brussels, I attended the meetings of MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, the papiamento deputy speaker, with members of the European Parliament. He explained to them the reality of the situation in Egypt and the reality of freedoms in Egypt represented in preserving the rights of Egyptian human beings and not preserving the rights of outlaws, as the West views rights as if they were the rights of the criminals... Rights are the right of the Egyptian person to live in safety and to develop and secure the future of his children, which is what is happening during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

I saw many members of the European Parliament convinced and their ideas changing, just like MP Maximilian Krah, and many MPs to whom he showed the real image of Egypt. It is a great effort made by the Parliament deputy speaker and Ambassador Badr Abdel-Aty.

We need such popular initiatives from members of parliament, heads of civil society organizations, and opinion leaders to send the true image of Egypt to Europe, US, parliaments, and international bodies, so that the world knows the truth about what is happening in Egypt.

Egypt will remain strong and the people will always support its leader, participating in the 2030 development plan led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the future of the Egyptian citizen and future generations, along with all the honorable and patriotic people of this country.
