Atlanta Sky Rains Dollar Bills

Atlanta, a city in the United States of America has witnessed a unique freak event.

More than $ 175 thousand dollars were swept by strong winds on one inter-state high way.

Dozens of cars stopped there.

Passengers got off to pick the green bills as they found it was possible to collect them safely.

Sources said that the dollars drifted out of an armored can which was transferring money to Atlanta.

A video footage showed the passengers and drivers hurried to catch that unexpected wealth.

Police released a statement said that a side door of the armored car opened mistakenly when the vehicle negotiated the road.

The statement pointed out that the crew fished out some hundred dollars which were still on the asphalt.

However, thousands of bills were taken away before the police reached the location.

Robert Parson, spokesman of the local police urged people who carried away the lost dollars to return them again.
