The month of June has begun, and along with it began the holidays and summer vacations where people hit the beautiful beaches of Egypt to enjoy the sun, sea, and air as well as take part in outdoor activities.
It is important to consume healthy nutrition based mainly on fresh fruits and vegetables that are well washed with water and vinegar as well as drink water to replace the fluid you lose through sweating.

Dr. Hany El Nazer, a professor and former dean of the National Research Center of Egypt, shared some tips for a safe and healthy summer vacation.
He recommended preparing a small summer bag to take to the beach, which includes the following:
1- A small bottle containing an antiseptic solution such as Betadine to clean and prevent contamination of wounded family members.
2- A sunscreen cream to protect against the painful sun; apply it on the exposed body parts and renew it every two hours.
3- A burn cream like MEBO to help with sunburn or any severe sting or inflammation.
4- A small bottle of vinegar to treat the sting of a jellyfish; wash the place of the sting with the same seawater and then apply it directly with vinegar.
