For the first time, the General Egyptian Book Organization has partnered with the Leaders foundation to hold free training courses at the Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF51) (22 Jan - 4 Feb).
Secretary-General of the Leaders foundation Ahmed El-Sherif said that that the Foundation will hold three free training courses during the 51st book fair, including an entrepreneurship program, Tomorrow's Youth, and Afro-Arab leaders.
He added that the idea was put forward by Shawkat Al-Masry, the general director of the Cairo International Book Fair, pointing out that the foundation maintains several partnerships with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the State Information Service, the universities of Cairo & New Valley, and a number of state bodies.
He noted that the applicants have reached 70 thousand, while the seminars do not receive more than 600 participants, who were already chosen and pided into 6 groups,100 inpiduals each.
Nevertheless, El-Sherif mentioned that he obtained the approval of the Minister of Culture Enas Abdel Dayem to schedule the remaining applicants for courses after the book fair.
Meantime, the chosen applicants will receive the courses during the fair at its grounds. It is worth mentioning that applicants submitted their applications using an online link provided by the foundation.
