Winter nights are long and cold, and all you need is a warm and lovely dessert. One of those tasty recipes is creme caramel. It is delicious and lovely.
So, here you will find a lovely low-sugar Creme Caramel recipe.
1/2 Cup of Sugar for Caramel
1 1/2 Cups of Milk
1/2 Cream or Heavy Whipping Cream
2 Table Spoons of Milk Powder
3 Jumbo Eggs or 4 Medium Eggs
1/2 Tea Spoon of Orange Zest, or Two Drops of Orange Extract
A Few Saffron (Optional)
Bare in mind that those ingredients are for a pyrex tray that sized 25x25
Mix sugar in a pan and cook it over low heat until it is caramelized, after that pour it into the tray.
Next, in the previously used pan add the cream and milk over low heat until it well mixed and had a lovely color.
At the same time, blend the eggs, vanilla, and the rest of the ingredients together in the mixer.
Add the boiling milk and cream to the mixture of eggs, and mix them fast.
Pour it into the tray, place it in a wider tray that contains boiling water, and place it in the oven for 20 minutes.
Then, refrigerate it for three hours, after that put it in the microwave for 20 seconds.
Finally, mix it once again before serving
