Egypt's U-20 sword team won the silver medal in the team competition at the World Sword Championship.
The tournament was held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria from 1-9 April .
In the final, Egypt lost to the USA 45-38 and took second place and a silver medal.
Egypt's sword team started by beating Kuwait in the round of 32 with a score of 45/25 and then beating Germany, France and then Uzbekistan in the semi-finals.
The Egyptian team for the sword weapon consists of: "Adham Moataz, and Ziad Nofal,. Ahmed Hisham and Yassin Khader", led by coach Mahmoud Jundia
