On Wednesday, Ambassador Andrea Studer, Vice-Director and Head of MENA – Europeh Division at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and her accompanying delegation met with the Governor of Aswan Major General Ashraf Attia, along with Ambassador Yvonne Baumann, Ambassador of Switzerland in Egypt and Dr. Valérie Liechti, Head of Office for International Cooperation- Embassy of Switzerland in Egypt.
Ambassador Andrea Studer indicated that Switzerland is very pleased with the fruitful cooperation with the Governorate of Aswan, where we witnessed today the impact of our participation in providing drinking water in a sustainable way for the residents of the Khor Awada, Amberkab and Khataria areas in the East of the city, pointing out that the success of the projects that took place comes as a result of the continuous support from the governorate, pointing out the achievements of the partnership in a number of development axes.
