British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's Spokesman said that UK has no plans to send fighter jets to Ukraine.
"The Ukrainians have taken the decision to train their pilots on F-16 fighter jets," the spokesman said, according to the BBC, adding that the British Royal Air Force does not use these fighters.
It is worth mentioing that, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in London Monday to hold talks with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
According to the British government's official website, Zelensky briefed the British prime minister (PM) about his meetings with European leaders over the weekend as Ukraine prepares for an intense period of military activity.
This visit also came before the Council of Europe summit in Iceland, which the British PM will attend as well as Zelensky's virtual participation, and G7 summit in Japan.
On his part, Sunak will use these gatherings to press for continued international support for Ukraine, both in terms of military assistance and long-term security guarantees.
