A two-day Ramadan celebration was held in the Souq El Fostat in Old Cairo under the title "Hekayat EL Fan Masry".

It also featured the play of the flute, tabla, and folk arts.

The celebration concluded with a very special fashion show by designers of fashion, art designers, jewelry, bags, and handicrafts.

The fashion show aims to highlight the efforts and stories of Egyptian art, which is displayed throughout the year in 40 galleries in Souq El Fostat.

* Nahed Amin

The show kicked off with designer Nahed Amin presenting her designs under the title of "Fun".

She relied on the Khayamiya traditional art as well as on high-end materials and cotton fabrics.

Amin presented designs in distinctive new colors and added astras and embroidery to them.

* Jihan Al-Majd

Designer Jihan Al-Majd was the second to present her designs.

Al-Majd showcased the item under the title of "Love". She combined the Egyptian arts with love and mixed the little details, relying on the integration of ideas and their simplicity.

* Marwa and Dalia Ibrahim

It's beautiful for two sisters to have art as a common ground.

This is what sisters Marwa and Dalia Ibrahim showcased with their exquisite designs.

They presented their designs under the title "Gallery Dar".

The designs were made from fine cotton materials and came delightful summer filled with modern details and a youthful vibe.

They also presented tie-and-dye art and crochet works.

* Sinai art

Sinai region is beloved by many of us in the homeland, where art and handicrafts are original and inspiring.

The designer Iman Sinawi and the artist Bashir Alorgani, famous by Bashir al-Sinawi, presented designs that blend civilization, art, and sophistication at the same time.

* Samar batik

The ancient art of batik has fans. This art does not reveal its secrets except to those its loves and discloses to them its secrets, abilities, and energies.

This is what happened between the art of batik and the artist Samar Hassanein, who presents very creative art and modern designs of dresses, jumpsuits, and jackets Komono made of Egyptian batik art.

* Al-Tali shandawil

Al-Tali is a wonderful art that has been inherited by generations, and the Sa'idi artist Amal Sayed Hassan got acquainted with this art after she finished her studies and decided to revive this art with love and make designs in various colors away from black and white such as blue.

She surprised many after presenting a wedding dress entirely made of off-white tally and gold threads.

* Other essential members

The leather is by Monica Adel, and the jewelry is by Imad Adel,

Dalia Mohy, Irini and Elham Jalal.

The exquisite show was supervised by Mona Khattab and Nahla Salem.

The Night of Art showcases the wonderful Egyptian arts, which reminded us of Amir Toaima's lyrics about Ramadan which goes "Ramadan in Egypt is another thing and the secret is in the details".

The night at the Souq El Fostat is something else, and the secret is in the art stories.

The artists present in the market told the stories of the sheikh's handicrafts, the inherited art spin with love.
