Statistics Agency: Trade Bet. Egypt, Arab Countries Grew by 19.2% in 2022

Data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics showed an increase in the value of trade exchange between Egypt and the Arab countries to record $14.4 billion during the first half of 2022 compared to $12.1 billion during the same period in 2021, with an increase of $2.3 billion, with an increase of 19.2%.

The value of Egyptian exports to Arab countries amounted to $5.9 billion during the first half of 2022 compared to 5.4 billion dollars during the same period in 2021, an increase of 466.5 million dollars, and an increase of 8.6%.

Saudi Arabia topped the list of the top ten Arab countries importing from Egypt during the first half of 2022, with Egypt's exports reaching $1.2 billion, followed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) $955.2 million, Libya's $525 million, Sudan $441.4 million, and Morocco 396.4 $1 million, Jordan $361.8 million, Algeria $352.8 million, Iraq $276.1 million, Kuwait $265.6 million, and finally Lebanon $220 million.
