The Arab Producers General Union , with all its Arab cadres and media institutions deployed in 18 Arab countries headed by Dr. Ibrahim Abu Zekri, issued a statement calling for a cessation of broadcasting artistic works which offend Palestinian cause.
The Union said that the works try to distort the Arabs image in favor of documenting some of the ideas broadcast by the global Zionism tools to normalize relations with Israel.
“The Palestinian citizens on the occupied land are exposed to serious psychological, social and economic pressures as they suffer from their exposure to a deadly virus threatening to destroy all body cells,” the statement read.
“In addition, their situation is worsened by the threat of culture through Arab drama contents we watch it on MBC screen.”
MBC has gone out of the Arab tradition by broadcasting two series that are more dangerous. This is in an attempt to change historical facts and pave the normalization way, rejected by the Arab Producers General Union.
"The Exit 7" and “Umm Haroun" series and their objectionable content socially, psychologically and historically have caused concern among Arab viewers.
No one expected that the Arab drama to dare and say that the Palestinians are the true enemies of the Arabs and depict the Israelis as great friends, in addition to claiming that Israel has the right over Palestinian lands.
On other hand, the presentation of these vile works, one of its important goals is attempt to brainwash Arab citizens through Arabic dramas, where MBC exploits the masses love and spreads Mossad toxins through its screen.
The Union are calling for the Arab masses to join the campaign of purify the Arab drama from the current toxins presented in media outlets, requesting MBC group to remove these series from it's screen and adhere to the Arab nation cause and its national issues- first and foremost is Palestine cause.
